Stormwater System Construction Contract |

The Waimakariri District Council is calling for submissions
from suitably experienced contractors interested in tendering for
the construction of a stormwater attenuation and treatment system
in Rangiora. The works will involve construction of a stormwater
treatment basin comprising an oversized swale with gravel check
dams, bunded high level detention area, outlet structure to North
Brook and overflow weir to Crayfish Creek; new culvert; together
with realignment and enhancement of Crayfish Creek, including the
construction of a trout barrier.
A single contract is to be
tendered. Work is planned to take place during the period
September 2010 to April 2011.
Submissions for
pre-qualification are invited from suitably experienced
contractors.
The pre-qualification documents are available
for download below. Documents are available for viewing at the
Council Service Centres in Kaiapoi, Oxford and Rangiora. Documents
can be uplifted from the Council Service Centre at 215 High
Street, Rangiora. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required for
hard copies of the document.
Contractors who download the
pre-qualification document should register their intent with Kelly
Sunnex at the Waimakariri District Council, phone 03 311 8900, to
ensure all notices are received.

Pre-qualification closes at 4:00pm
on Wednesday 28th July 2010 at The
Tender Box at the Rangiora Service Centre, 215 High Street,
Private Bag 1005, Rangiora 7440, and should be endorsed “09/66
Pre-qualification submission for East Rangiora Stormwater System
Construction Contract” on the envelope.
Late
submissions will not be accepted.
